Fairfax Public Schools Advocacy Toolkit for Parents

This toolkit is brought to you by the Minority Student Achievement Oversight Committee (MSAOC) and the Fairfax County Public Schools to help you understand and navigate FCPS. The MSAOC compiled these resources to help all parents advocate for their child and help their child succeed in school.

A parent advocate has the tools to support their child’s academic growth from preschool through graduation and ultimately to college and career success.

When every parent has these tools, we close the achievement gap that stands in the way of student success. When parents become advocates, all students have a chance for academic achievement.

We invite you to bookmark this website and visit it often. Each month will focus on timely events and milestones to ensure a continuum of information for you to use when you need it.
